The executive branch has yet to make a sensible, experienced, and reasonable appointee. We cannot let the extreme prejudice of his appointees cause us to accept the less extreme of them. We must insist on significantly better nominees or refuse to let things go on "business as usual." If this administration will not meet us in the real middle, if they won't leave bigotry behind to work with us, we must refuse to concede a single appointee or bill. We must drag our heels, filibuster, deny consent, draw out processes, and vote against this administration. This administration has shown itself to be so anti-democracy that we must make it as hard as possible for this administration to do anything.
