1. The border wall is a gross and horrifying use of funds that could be better spent elsewhere. 2. The wall is a poor substitution for actual immigration reform which would allow us to deal with the root of the problem instead of using an ineffectual and poisoned bandaid. 3. Without actual immigration reform which allow those already here and contributing to the economy, culture, and society to do so without fear, sanctuary cities are a vital part of protecting humans and families that this administration seeks to destroy. 4. Publishing a list of crimes committed by undocumented immigrants is a nazi tactic that goes against the right to privacy and debases what we hold dear about American democracy, and I frankly don't trust law enforcement or this administration to abide by the "innocent until proven guilty" philosophy in this case. 5. Prioritizing criminal activity over say labor violations, human rights violations, human trafficking, and domestic abuse, issues all faced by undocumented immigrants all over the country shows that what this administration cares about is fear mongering and monopoly of the use of violence and not the actual human lives at stake.
