An obvious problem in electing a populist president is that he has no effing idea what he's doing. He is incapable of analyzing his actions or considering the nuances of situations. He is running this country exactly the way an eighth-grader would run her student government, by consulting extensively with her friends before doing what feels right on the day her decision is due. The judge, on the other hand, is acting from a position of knowledge and experience. Through education and training and experience with THE LAW, he made a decision about THE LAW. How can anyone familiar with democracy come down on trump's side in this? Please support democracy while it's still got a pulse.
