The previous President used his veto pen without nary a complaint from democrats or their followers. Another Democratic “Double Standard” it would seem. How many vetoes has Obama used? President Barack Obama (D) issued 12 vetoes during his presidency. One of his vetoes was overridden by Congress. Article I, Section 7 of the Constitution of the United States gives the president of the United States the ability to veto a bill passed by Congress.
