    Just smelling it shouldn’t be grounds for search, if a cop smells alcohol in my car is that grounds to search me? NO. maybe I spilled a little on my shirt when I had a drink with dinner, a smell isn’t valid enough, now if the cop notices impairment or signs of being under the influence then you can search but just a smell is also to vague to be a valid argument. The same rules with drinking should be applied to weed.
