    Voted Yes

I keep expecting my new Republican rep to stop voting party on this. He is on probation and barely won in what has gone from a blue district. I keep hoping that he votes with compassion for the Americans, not just the federal employees, who are being impacted. But every bill to open government has been a no. These were his first votes. I wonder whether he thinks constituents do not know this or will forgive. Apparently he is not smart enough to see that yea votes would gain him good will. Two years is a blessedly short time to swing the district back to blue. Thank goodness he can do little damage with his party votes.
