    I don’t think congressional interns should get preferential treatment just because they work for Congress. There are fields that require YEARS of unpaid internships that are forbidden to be on-the-job training before licensing and working in the field. I would support this only if all internships - whatever they are labeled - had a guarantee of a living wage.
