How Should Congress Handle Family Separation at the Border?

Both parties want this solved. Keep families together in a way that doesn’t interfere with the enforcement of border security. This isn’t a problem Trump created but he certainly made it worse. This existed under Obama unenforced through executive discretion. That gives too much power to the president, laws should be enforced as stated and changed if that isn’t popular. Perhaps it is a good thing, now we noticed the problem and can work to solve it through bipartisan action. I detest the way this has been spun but there is a real problem to be solved regardless. Let’s not get lost in partisan rhetoric.
