    I completely disagree with everyone on here. I work in the energy industry and recognize the importance of a diverse energy portfolio. Natural gas currently has a single point vulnerability as all the gas flows through a single pinch point, not to mention it is currently not regulated which continues to drive power prices down. Also for those of you who pay more for renewables, you don’t get to choose what powers your house, nor are those renewables able to always provide power to the grid. We need reliable base load power. Until we develop the technology to store renewable energy it is not cost efficient.
