The Democratic wins in the Virginia/New Jersey, while surprising, were to be expected. Do these wins indicate that they are predictive of sweeping wins, including Democratic recovering control of the US Senate and US House. I think not. What I believe is that these elections see a wake-up call for the Republicans to get off their bends, get behind the President, and accomplish what the 2016 voters elected them to do. I’ve a couple of suggestions got the, Republicans, to do. First, start following Reagan’s Eleventh Commandment: Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican. Don’t provide the leftist media and Democrats more fodder to throw at fellow Republicans. Secondly, the Democrats, regardless of the election results 11/7/18, remain as a leaderless party, fragmented following the 2016 Presidential Elections, with I believe ongoing battles between the Socialist, Progressive, and Liberal elements of, the party. Will the Clinton and Obama branches be replaced by the Sanders, Warren or more radical elements, remains to be see. I’ll have to agree to wait and see what the Republicans come up with their Health Care and Tax bills. I hope that they will remain “Strong & Honor” their campaign promises. Of course we will continue in seeing Democratic Senators Obstructionist activities taking place. Sadly, don’t look 👀 for any compromise coming from the Democrats, anytime soon.
