He should not be on the NSC. I believe it sets a bad precedent, especially considering his political background & philosophies. Any national security matters & decisions will be tainted by the belief that his political views superseded national security interests. The NSC should be as free of politics & free of political reproach as possible. Mr. Brannon's appointment does not do that in the slightest, in my opinion. Add to that the removal of others from the NSC (joint chiefs, intelligence etc), and I see a bad storm brewing on the horizon. Tell this president that if national security is a top priority for him, to get his NSC in order.
