Let's remember 9/11. It was the Saudis behind those attacks. Saudis are extremely anti-western. They are the ones that are indoctrinating the terrorist they are schooling the terrorist in terrorism and ideology. Why do we treat them as friends? They are not our friends. The funding for 9/11 came from the Saudis. Most of the attackers were Saudis. Why would we give them more tools and more technology that they can use against us? We got to be crazy treating them like they are our friends. Only a sell out would treat them as friends. We all know who was behind 9/11. Bin Laden was a Saudi Prince. The funding came from Saudi Arabia and most of the attackers were from Saudi Arabia.

I support S.J. Res 38-116 blocking the sale of arms to Saudi Arabia. If Iran is not our friend, Saudi Arabia is even less so.

How could you be voting for this bill. It authorizes $6 billion in arms sales, most of which will be made overseas under license. If these are going to be made in Saudi Arabia, they will be made by workers in little more than slave conditions. It helps neither the current geopolitical tensions, nor the US economy’s bottom line. How as a Senator could you vote to abdicate your oversight responsibility for a Trump-created faux-emergency situation. If the current issues were a true state of emergency he would have launched the counter-attacks for the downing of our drone last Thursday.

I don't like the sale of anything, especially weapons, to the Saudis. But, I really don't want our crazy Congress involved, either.

The Saudi royal family came to power through Imam Wahabbi. His teachings are at the root of al Qaeda, ISIL, the Taliban, and other Jihadist and terrorist activities. The Saudis have never, as far as I know, stood more than half-heartedly stood against these groups or Wahabbi’s misogynistic and brutal teachings or other atrocities because going against the Wahabbi followers would jeopardize their monarchy and, therefore, wealth. Intelligence analysts agree that their Crown Prince was behind the barbaric and sadistic murder of the American journalist Kashoggi. Why do they still have favored status? Why should we give them weapons with which Wahabbists could torch the Middle East?
