Foreign Fuels Reduction Act

Official Title

A bill to amend the Clean Air Act to provide that a downward adjustment of the volume of cellulosic biofuel results in a pro rata reduction of the volume of renewable fuel and advanced biofuels required under the Renewable Fuel Standard.

Summary

Foreign Fuels Reduction Act - Amends Clean Air Act provisions governing the Renewable Fuel Program to require (current law authorizes) the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), when reducing the volume of cellulosic biofuel required under such Program to the projected volume available during that calendar year, to reduce the applicable volume of renewable fuel and advanced biofuels required under the Program by the same (currently, the same or a lesser) volume.
