Official Title

A bill to establish a Jobs Creation Coordinator in the Department of Commerce to ensure that agencies in the Department use resources in a manner that maximizes the maintenance and creation of jobs in the United States, and for other purposes.

Summary

Jobs Coordinator for Sustainable American Recovery Act of 2009 or the Jobs CSAR Act of 2009 - Directs the Secretary of Commerce to establish a Jobs Creation Coordinator to: (1) develop a plan to improve the ability of Department of Commerce programs to maintain or create private sector jobs in the United States; and (2) coordinate with Congress to enhance the Department's ability to do so.
