Why is it everyone on here is so short sighted that they don’t understand that NATO is important to keep us ALL OUT OF ANOTHER WORLD WAR & TO COOPERATE TO STOP CONFRONTATIONS LIKE FROM RUSSIA. Helping those NATIONS with their clean electrical and gas infrastructure thru businesses or workers would only help our country. Those countries do NOT HAVE THE OIL/GAS RESERVES WE DO. Any US Government money spent should be on a LOAN so that we get reimbursed for our money spent

NATO should be disbanded and the US should be the first to leave it.

No. First ensure the infrastructure here in the USA is good. Then we can think about other place‘s challenges.

I support America helping other countries, but at their expense, not ours. We use to be a lender nation. The last I’ve heard, that money was never repaid to us; we are now a debtor nation. Too many NATO countries do not pay their fair share for military expenses. We need to stop protecting all countries that do not pay: now. Let corporations do feasibility studies and invest their capital. U.S. taxpayer money has found its way to too many slush funds; tax money has been misappropriated and misused. We need to take care of our own infrastructure.

Absolutely. One of our priority foreign policy goals should be to replace Russia as the top energy exporter to Europe.

Nah. Renewables only from now on. We’ve all heard the climate assessment and know how doomed we are if we don’t take steep action right now

This is a big government give away to natural gas companies disguised as diplomacy. Stop supporting dirty energy and start investing in clean energy. If we have money to build energy infrastructure for other countries then how come we don’t have money for domestic needs? Support clean energy and communities in the U.S.

Bad enough you want to take money out of our pockets and our communities to send it abroad, but then to send it to EUROPE of all places. Inexcusable. Let them invest their money and let us invest ours. Better yet, stop taxing it away from me and let ME decide where and how to invest my own.

Take care of America first and start fulfilling all the promises you have made to US voters/tax payers. Getting the wall funded to protect our boarders would be a good place to start. All the money (millions) spent on protecting our boarders from the tens of thousands trying to rush our boarders could have been put towards funding a wall. We are funding an out of control government with out of control spending habits, slush funds, and paying for 63% of immigrants here to live off of welfare programs. Take those dollars and fix the problems here at home.

We can’t be the world’s nanny. The countries can work with us if they don’t want to be Dependent on the Russians.

Not until we fix our own issues. If we can afford to spend on others, why not put that money to work for us first. It’s like a parent taking care of other children that aren’t his own. Take care of your own first, then worry about everyone else.

Need to invest in US infrastructure right now. We should be spending every dollar possible on our aging and crumbling infrastructure. Once we get ourselves fixed, THEN we should offer aid to others.

This appears to benefit Special Interests ONLY. How about investing in The United States Clean/ green energy. If we work to become a leader in Clean, other nations will seek to import out products and services. We all win. This will make Clean products cheaper for the Citizens. Stop trying to support dinosaurs and primitive technology. We all lose in the future with dirty energy.

It’s not for us to invest as a nation. Let the free market work it out with Europe.

When our gas, electric, sanitary, and transportation infrastructure is up to modern standards we can look into helping other countries. We already spend billions on foreign aid.

No. We need to invest in our own infrastructure first. We need better diversification of energy sources, and sustainable ways to use those sources such as efficient transportation systems.
