Ensures that healthcare providers have the legal right to not perform or cover the cost of abortions if it conflicts with their personal or religious beliefs. This bill protects healthcare providers from violating their consciences.
This bill is redundant; federal funds are already heavily restricted from going toward abortion services, and healthcare providers already have the right to not offer abortion services. This bill addresses a nonexistent problem.
