We need to do whatever we can to stop the human rights abuses here in our hemisphere and punish the Ortega Regime before Nicaragua turns into Venezuela 2.0. We cannot afford more suffering in neighboring nations and increased illegal immigration which would surely be a result of a full blow crisis.

I am writing about your upcoming meeting: Nicaraguan Crisis: Next Steps to Advancing Democracy and H.Res. 981: Condemning the violence, persecution, intimidation, and murders committed by the Government of Nicaragua against its citizens. I am a US citizen of Nicaraguan descent and I fully support stronger actions against the government of Nicaragua who are killing unarmed citizens on a daily basis since April, peaceful marchers, bystander and even families with babies inside their houses. Please the entire community of citizens of Nicaraguan descent and their friends ask for your help.

The Nicaraguan People are being murdered for the simple reason of protesting pacifically on the streets...Paramilitary forces created by the ORTEGA regimen are simply shooting the people without police intervention...war guns are being used and ships from Venezuela are bringing for guns without any control by the government....ORTEGA must be stopped before more blood is shed!!..SOS NICARAGUA
