This doesn't do much except make US policy the state department has to follow. Quit worrying about Russian collusion and start worrying about what they are actually doing. They are showing their human rights policies only apply to a select few.
We are kinder than this. We are more just than this. We cannot continue to be silent on this issue. America acts as an example for the whole world at large. We intervened during the Holocaust for almost exactly the very reason we should intervene in Chechnya today. It is crucial. The time is running low and indeed people are dying. Congress needs to speak because this administration won't. And this is 2017. We are not going back in the closet. And nobody can silence us or delete our very existence. Nobody has that right. To the members of Congress: we are calling on you to show us, your constituents, that you will do what you know Trump won't. Please. Please.
