Supports social studies curriculum standards that: (1) reflect current historical scholarship; (2) accurately address the fundamental conflicts and triumphs that have shaped the country's past and influence its future; and (3) are clear, informed, and inclusive to allow students to be knowledgeable of this country's diverse history and culture.
