The U.S. can provide a safe home for 25,000 Syrian children relatively easily, and these visas would only be until the war in Syria has ended and a durable peace process is underway.
There are existing programs in place for child refugees to come to the country, and simply offering 25,000 visas to refugee children from Syria doesn’t mean it’ll be any easier for them to get here.
