State Sovereignty Wildlife Management Act

Official Title

To provide that the inclusion of the gray wolf on lists of endangered species and threatened species under the Endangered Species Act of 1973 shall have no force or effect.

Summary

State Sovereignty Wildlife Management Act - Provides that the inclusion of the gray wolf (Canis lupus), including any gray wolf designated as "nonessential experimental," on any list of endangered or threatened species under the Endangered Species Act of 1973 shall have no force or effect.
    This poorly crafted bill has been languishing in committee for five years. Significant violence to endangered species act. There are other, more recent bills which accomplish what is required much more Intelligently and gracefully.
