Official Title

To provide Government headstones and markers at private cemeteries for certain veterans.

Summary

Directs the Secretary of Veterans Affairs (VA) to furnish, upon request, an appropriate government headstone or marker for the grave of any veteran who died before November 1, 1990, in active military service while participating in a contingency operation, but is buried in a private cemetery.
