Statistics show the Death Penalty is not a deterrent to violent crime. It is not only inhumane, but also costly to American taxpayers. We need to end this program for good.
This bill is too extreme. If passed, the death penalty could no longer be used to punish someone who killed the President or a member of Congress. Death is a strong deterrent for criminals who want to live.
