What is it?

This bill would designate the community based outpatient clinic of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) located at 1961 Premier Drive in Mankato, Minnesota, as the "Lyle C. Pearson Community Based Outpatient Clinic." Pearson was a B-17 bomber pilot and member of the 15th Air Force in Europe. He was shot down over Italy in December of 1944 and held as prisoner of war until 1945. Pearson was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal with Clusters, and the Purple Heart. He died on January 11th, 2013, at the age of 92.
