The provision added for gun silencers needs to be removed. If you hunt or shoot, there are types of protective gear that will protect your hearing. Rep. Jeff Duncan - hunters don’t need silencers. He must be getting a monthly retirement check from the gun manufacturers.

This is a tiny step. The rights of Americans have been chipped away. There is no reason suppressors should be so heavily regulated.

This will make it harder to identify the location of shooters in active shooter situations. The SOUND of shots is sometimes the only thing that saved lives.

Here is presented the fastest route to more mass shootings. If this had passed, the death toll today would have been 100 instead of 58, because no one would have HEARD anything.

We don’t need mass murders to be more silent. No silencers!

Gun silencers? Really? They've been outlawed for decades and the GOP thinks we need them legalized? WTF?????

There are too many things going on in this bill - some I’m okay with others not so much.

Gun violence in the United States has become more of a threat than terrorism in recent years, yet laws continue to be passed to perpetuate this phenomenon. Please vote “No” when these sorts of bills arise in the future. This could save countless lives. America desperately needs laws restricting access to assault weapons, providing a means through which citizens have easy access to mental health care, and limiting gun availability in general. I realize this is a huge request, but the senseless violence has gone on for far too long. Thank you for your time and service to the country.

Silencers, armor-piercing ammo, lead shot, more lands and more species added to hunt-have our representatives all been paid off by the gun & ammo industry? Try sportsmen want to protect the wilderness not exploit the wildlife or poison it with lead. Allowing silencers & armor-piercing ammo will greatly increase the harm that malcontents can cause to police & society. What a dangerous & totally unnecessary piece of legislation.

People who never shot a gun don't realize how many ears can be saved by passing this law. Being a LTC individual I would like to be able to carry my concealed weapons to others states and not have to worry about the laws changing from state to state on how I'm supposed to carry my weapon.
