This is a fear mothering campaign based on something that exists only in the minds of politicians, not physicians. This issue does not exist in reality.
STOP WASTING OUR TIME AND MONEY TRYING TO LEGITIMIZE YOUR RELIGIOUS VALUES AS A MORAL ABSOLUTE. I can not stress enough at how over it I am at these deceitful tactic's being employed to make up and even rewrite facts in order 'win' public support for such none sense trash such as this. Just stop it!!!!
I am SO angry at the entire Planned Parenthood kerfluffle that I hope they shut the government down & lose the 2016 elections badly so that we finally have some grow ups in congress instead of petulant kindergarteners! Get a grip! It has been legal for women to get abortions since the 1970's. Whether it is legal or not legal, women get abortions. This current spectacle has nothing to do with anything but fear mongering, hatred of women & generally being unable to pass any wall without peeing on it. I am disgusted & will never ever vote for another conservative as long as I live! ***i know my response sounds like I don't care about innocent babies. I do care & of course every attempt should be made to save a viable human life! Period. Nevertheless, this sounds like a witch hunt bill! which pisses me off royally. I have yet to see any concern for a sick living child with NO healthcare or inadequate food or a poor child without access to a decent education. The hypocrisy is so maddening that I despise those who stand in judgment of women who have to cope with the punitive lack of social services and stand for family values while they screw every woman on their staff who can't get away from them! Shame on all of you!!!
It's life. Health providers has the obligation to save child.
And who will raise it and care for it? Once it's born it doesn't just get a job and pay taxes. Fear mongering designed to rile up the Christians over nothing
Abortion is terrible enough, but when insurance companies insure the death of the innocent infant, they are part of the murder.
This issue does not exist. It's fear mongering by uneducated lawmakers.

Please don't quibble over the various stages of an unborn child's development! LIFE BEGINS AT CONCEPTION.
Infants that survive an abortion simply MUST BE KEPT ALIVE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE! Health care providers who don't make an honest, determined effort to save such babies should be prosecuted. If they deliberately end a born-alive baby's life, they should be tried for murder.
This is ridiculous. I can't believe there is a vote about whether murder should be punished or not.
What kind of doctor doesn't do that? But yes it should be punishable by law to not provide care to any child.
Babies that survive abortions deserve to survive. The countless stories I have heard of people surviving abortions, are now productive members in society. The baby should be put up for adoption if the mother doesn't want the baby.
Congress (and States) should stop interfering in women's rights to abortions. This bill "fixes" a non-existent problem. Congress should deal with real problems such as income inequality.
If it were a grown person, you would prosecute them for malpractice or even murder, correct? Once the child is out of the womb, it's officially born. There should be no question in the minds of a physician whether they will try to save them now. I can't judge whether abortion is wrong or not, but letting someone die when you have the power to save them is just plain wrong.
Just ask those few individuals that have miraculously survived botched abortions - whether they are glad they are alive! The answer is, "YES!" Abortion is murder! Yes, you control YOUR BODY. You don't have the right to kill the BABY's BODY!
