Please extend the Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act of 2007 for at least another 5 years. There are still MANY homes that are underwater where residents can no longer pay their mortgage and must walk away. This ripple effect from the mortgage meltdown starting in 2007 is still working its way through the economy. Please extend the dates of this act. This is an excellent way to help middle class families.
