house Bill H.R. 2527

Sexual Trauma Counseling for Incidents That Occurred During Inactive Duty Training

Argument in favor

Reservists are rape victims in exactly the same way that active duty personnel are rape victims, and should be afforded the same access to counseling.

Argument opposed

In regard to free counseling for rape victims, none. This bill is, however, likely to mean more responsibilities for a very iffy VA system.
