Post Office Modernization Act of 2009

Official Title

To amend title 39, United States Code, to require post offices to have running water and sanitation facilities, and for other purposes.

Summary

Post Office Modernization Act of 2009 - Requires the Postal Service to ensure that every post office has access to running water and bathroom facilities. Prohibits the Post Office, in making a determination whether or not to close or consolidate a post office, from considering whether the post office meets the requirements of this Act.
