What is it?

Establishes a new communications network within the Department of Justice to circulate information when a law enforcement officer is seriously injured or killed. This bill would synchronize state and local Blue Alert plans already in existence with this proposed federal plan. Orders the Attorney General to assign an existing Department of Justice officer to act as national coordinator.
