To amend title 5, United States Code, to extend the basis for the denial of retirement credit, for service as a Member of Congress, to include conviction of any felony under Federal or State law, and for other purposes.
Trust Returned to the United States Taxpayer Act or the TRUST Act - Denies retirement benefits under the Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) and the Federal Employees' Retirement System (FERS) to a Member of Congress who is convicted of any crime that is a felony under federal or state law (currently, limited to specified felonies under federal law).
