FinCEN Improvement Act of 2019
To amend the duties of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) to ensure FinCEN works with Tribal law enforcement agencies, protects against all forms of terrorism, and focuses on virtual currencies.
FinCEN Improvement Act of 2019 This bill amends the duties of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). FinCEN must work with tribal law enforcement agencies, protect against terrorism regardless of origin, and coordinate internationally on matters involving emerging technology and virtual currency.
If you really care about Native American sovereignty, get the Federal government out of their lives. Btw, many Native Americans are living in poverty and extremely dependent of Federal welfare. We need to change that as well. Make it easier and ease regulations for them to use their land as they please
With electronic banking and transactions, financial crimes are of course on the increase. We are behind other countries in being able to identify and resolve criminal financial practices. We need to learn quickly how to identify and solve criminal financial practices so fewer customers, businesses and banks are put into financial straits. Token and non-currency transactions also need to be covered in banking laws. It sounds like it's here to stay, so again get ahead of the practices before it becomes an issue.
