Since the passage of the PATRIOT Act in 2001, members of Congress have increasingly turned to creatively titled bills with acronyms aimed at leaving a lasting impression in the minds of would be supporters. Hundreds of bills are introduced in each Congress that, while surely clever in the eye of the author, can range from genuinely witty to cringeworthy.
