What to Watch

What Everyone Is Watching

  • Charlottesville. Dueling rallies turned tragic when a car, allegedly driven by a Nazi sympathizer, drove into a crowd that was protesting the self-proclaimed white nationalists, fascists and white supremacists. After Trump initially criticized "hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides," the White House clarified that “of course that includes white supremacists, KKK, Neo-Nazi and all extremist groups.”

What’s Worth Watching

  • Trump/Pence 2020. A little over 6 months into Donald Trump’s presidency, his reelection campaign committee has released a new ad highlighting Trump’s accomplishments and exposing his enemies. The enemies: "democrats obstructing," “the media attacking our president,” “career politicians standing in the way of our success.” Highlighted in the ad: one million new jobs, unemployment at its lowest level since 2001, the strongest military in decades.

The President: N.Y.

  • For the first time since taking office, the President returns to Trump Tower in New York City. This comes after an extended stay at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

  • On Friday, President Trump announced "we're going to have a pretty big press conference on Monday", but no details have yet been released to the White House press pool.

The House of Representatives: OUT OF SESSION

The Senate: OUT OF SESSION

Hope this week is better than the last, CountaCuties.
