On Tuesday, the President announced his budget proposal for fiscal year 2018, and among many cuts across the government, some noted the seemingly drastic reductions in medical research spending.
What do you think? Should the federal government continue to fund research institutions like the National Institutes of Health (NIH)? Or should they rely on private donations?
