I am deeply concerned about the committee working on the revision of the ACHA. While the group is somewhat bipartisan, it fails to include women! That is, to put it plainly, just straight up dumb. It is also ridiculous to waste tax payers dollars, time and energy on developing a new health care bill, rather than just strengthen and improve the one we currently have in place! Keep the ACA! Strengthen and improve the ACA and enact single payer system for all!!

DT should not be able to enact any legislative policy changes until after he has been cleared of all investigations involving "Russian influence"

The most important and urgent task is to impeach and imprison tRump for his crimes. He is a traitor. He is a criminal. He is a money laundering mobster. Treason. Misprision of treason. Criminal espionage. Emoluments. Nepotism. The entire klan he brought I. To our government to OUR White House is a gang of thugs and criminals and Russian agents. Get them out. He is building his regime on the model of PutIn's authoritarian regime. Stop this criminal madness. Stop the attacks against us from Russian actors on line and in media and stop the attacks coming from this WH and this administration. Now. Act now. FBI investigation. Grand Juries. RICO. FARA. Sealed warrants. Sealed indictments. Indictments. We need to see indictments soon - this nation is boiling over with rage at the criminal activity and you stand by and let these things take place. Shame. Are you complicit? If not stand up now for democracy.

Please take a very serious look at the Healthcare bill. Keep in mind many people are afraid of what's in store for them. Just fix what's wrong with Obamacare. Don't do what the House did.

Any health care bill that reduces the number of insured people, allows insurance companies to raise rates on people with "pre existing conditions", cuts funding for Planned Parenthood, or undoes Medicaid expansion, MUST not be passed. We are a wealthy nation and it is a shame that health care is not considered to be a basic right in this country!

I am confused as to why the senate committee considering health care reform fails to include at least one woman. Not representing 50% of the population is troubling. As the horrible House bill demonstrates, when women aren't at the table, their health concerns become "preexisting conditions." Please remedy this. Thank you.

Why is there not a single woman on the Senate healthcare committee? Half of the people using healthcare are women. I would venture to guess these men know nothing of women's health. In addition I want full disclosures of what's going on in the Russian investigation. We are not asleep. And why have industry representatives on a science advisory committee for EPA? So they can limit the science?

So, I noticed on may 8th a hearing on the Russian interference in the election is coming up. You need to listen, if you're a true hardcore patriotic S.O.B then moral judgment isn't an issue. The Russians might have actually interfered and worked in cahoots with Trump. The evidence is there, please make the right choice, and don't let bias eat you alive like it does to other politicians.

I am completely disgusted at the bill you have passed, the AHCA, or Trumpcare. The sole purpose of this bill appears to be a ridiculous tax break for the wealthy. As well, it's secondary purpose is a so called WIN for Mr. Trump. It's a shameful message to working citizens of this country who desperately need healthcare coverage. The fact that you denied the CBO a chance to do the math on the bill before passing it is disgraceful as well. Removing provisions of the ACA or Obamacare that every American deserves like pre-existing condition coverage and maximum lifetime caps is proof that you work for the insurance lobby and NOT your constituents. Let me remind you that you work for ALL Americans and you represent me. I will not accept that you allowed this assault on the citizens of The United States of America.

Couldn't be stated any better or clearer by Peter. I agree completely. "Any health care bill that reduces the number of insured people, allows insurance companies to raise rates on people with "pre existing conditions", cuts funding for Planned Parenthood, or undoes Medicaid expansion, MUST not be passed. We are a wealthy nation and it is a shame that health care is not considered to be a basic right in this country! "

I would like to send a message to all the senate to keep the ACA. Repealing it would be a disservice to all Americans that use Obamacare. Just stop thinking of yourselves and not others. And if you wish to abolish the ACA just remember midterm elections are coming up and we will vote you out of your job.

Please do not allow millions of Americans to be deprived of affordable insurance. To leave certain decisions up to the states is a terrible option. Access is not the same as affordability. I have access to a new Lincoln Navigator, but as a retired teacher, can only afford to drive an old Subaru. Think about it!

Please, my dear wonderful Senators, please do whatever you can to get an equal number of women in the committee working on a health care bill. Women are, after all, 50% of the population, with health needs quite different from those of men. Please be a part of the movement to end control of government by older wealthy white men.

It is obvious after listening to testimony this afternoon that for anyone to take the Trump/Russia investigation seriously, an independent counsel must be put in place. For example, this hearing is about the Trump campaign and Russia, but we had Senator Cruz demanding to know why sally Yates didn't defend the unconstitutional Muslim ban. Not only do we have the president and his staff trying to change the subject, we have actual Senate committee members, including but not limited to Cruz, changing the subject. Seems that some of the GOP committee members just can't seem to stay on topic. Let's get independent counsel that can.

It is unbelievable that our Congress cares so little for life that they passed that abominable health bill. People with cancer will die without ACA. We must stand up and fight for a single payer plan.

I want thorough, unbiased investigation into these extremely serious allegations. So far republicans in congress have shown more loyalty to their party & interest in retaining power than patriotism to America. If the president was a democrat & these same allegations surfaced they would have refused to confirm any Supreme Court nominee. Instead republicans use the president's distractions to push through crappy legislation to benefit donors, themselves & the wealthy.

If you have a beautiful spacious home for the family and the water heater breaks down, you don't sell your home, you just repair the water heater. Was there holes in some of the policies regarding ACA, absolutely. If your smart you don't get rid of ACA you fix what's wrong with it. It should not be about destroying Barack Obama's Legacy it should be about putting America before party and recognizing that 24 million people have healthcare that didn't 8 years ago and fixing whatever loopholes that's necessary is the smart way to do it. Not Repeal and Replace.

I have been watching the Senate Judiciary Hearing with Sally Yates and James Clapper with great interest. I would like to state that I was appalled to see a few republicans attempting to 'Highjack' the hearing by questioning Ms Yates about unrelated topics. I was under the impression that this was supposed to be a bipartisan hearing and feel that the chairman should stop this. It reflects poorly on the judiciary committee and the chairman. Specifically Ted Cruz was completely out of line in his questioning of Ms Yates; his behaviour was extremely partisan and unprofessional.
