Writing again to say vote NO on Trumpcare as a replacement for the ACA. Do not rush this through because Trump is a bully and he is pressuring you. You don't work for Trump. You represent the people of Alabama who will be hurt greatly by the replacement of the ACA with Trump's so called "plan".
It's time for Congress to rise above politics of healthcare. Healthcare is for ALL Americans. Abandon ideology on this issue. Look at reality. $8billion to help high risk people is a drop in the bucket. Republicans are just throwing the dog a bone. This bill will still force millions in the country to lose coverage. It will subject women to price discrimination. It will subject the old and the disabled to intolerably high premiums and thus early death due to unaffordability. Resist this bill with everything you've got.
Do not vote for a health care bill that does not include pre-existing conditions without knowing what the state will do and if that plan would price your constituents out of coverage. The argument that ACA plans that are accessible but not affordable are not right also applies to Pre-existing conditions. We did not ask for these conditions
Don't abandon efforts to come up with a better health plan for Americans. Trump Care is not it! Don't vote on something because Trump is acting like an impatient toddler waiting for a cookie. $8 billion will not help those with expensive conditions requiring ongoing maintenance.
Why are Senate Republicans sitting on their hand when it comes to calling out the President for his abuses in office? Why no action? Why no listening to the thousands of people who are marching, demonstrating, calling, writing, doing anything we can just to get something done about the way he is abusing his power. You have plenty of tools available - ACT! Do something! Listen to the people that you work for and take action.
Please do not support this latest iteration of the AHCA that is being proposed as of 5/3/17. The bill is still lacking important provisions designed to protect all Americans not just those fortunate enough to have the financial means to pay for it. Under no circumstances should a citizen of this country be denied coverage due to a pre-existing condition. Don't support this bill as it has been created under pressure applied by the executive branch for political expedience only. Instead go back to the drawing board and come up with a plan that maintains all of the important provisions of the ACA clearly put forth in plain language without complicated amendments.
Please do not vote for the ACA replacement. It is a rushed attempt to address a complicated issue.
Keep ACA. We the people want ACA. Keep ACA.
Writing again to request a NO vote on Trumpcare.
Brand new poll shows that the majority including Republicans do not support the pre existing opt out. In addition the overall bill still will result in millions losing coverage and premiums soaring for older folks. Don't go down with this horrible bill. There is no upside!
Vote NO. This is not a partisan issue. This is a question of what it means to be human...& this is exactly the reason we decided to declare our independence! "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." Are these truths no longer "Self evident"? How can any public servant, who's presumed interest is the welfare of the people, vote against this same welfare, and indeed the very lives of those they are entrusted with? Is life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness now only for the wealthy?
Please don't call it Trumpcare. That just spurs on his ego to have one more thing named after him. Besides it's really Trump don't care

Too many items in the new Trumpcare to comment on.... but please give us citizens with pre-existing conditions the same benefits and same premiums as everyone else. I feel that our government is penalizing me for having diabetes and high blood pressure.

What strikes me is that the congress can assimilate info and make decisions that may or may not please me which is still good. But, the White House is a different story. They don't want to understand anything in any detail and they aren't able to plan or carry out a course of action. I do not trust their decisions.

I am a constituent from your district calling today to ask you to continue to vote no on the healthcare bill before the house. The current Uptpn amendment does nothing on pre-existing conditions except adding billions to the national debt at taxpayer expense while giving insurance companies a big break to their bottom line. Please stay strong and continue to vote no on this healthcare bill that is bad for Americans with pre-existing conditions. Thank you.
Again asking for a no vote on healthcare. I just read that Susan Brooks, who was previously undecided is going to vote yes. So it seems to me that you really do not represent the people you represent.. Wondering what was promised in exchange.
Fix and improve the ACA. Work for the people and recognize anyone can fall into the category of having an ongoing physical disability or illness at any time regardless of status, income or how well we take care of ourselves. We all benefit from a stable health care system and it is a lose-lose when we make insurance out of reach for millions of people. Move forward, not back.
