Presidential Primary Election - April 2, 2024
Voter Registration Deadlines
- March 13, 2024 - Final day to register to vote by mail and online.

March 29, 2024 - Last day to register in person at your Municipal Clerk's Office.
- Residents can register to vote at their polling places on Election Day.
Absentee Ballot Deadlines

- March 28, 2024 - Final day to request an absentee ballot online.
Ballot Return Deadline
- April 2, 2024 - Final day to return your absentee ballot by mail or in person.
Nonpresidential Primary Election - August 13, 2024
Voter Registration Deadlines
- July 24, 2024 - Final day to for mail-in and online voter registration forms.
- August 9, 2024 - Final day to register in person at your Municipal Clerk’s Office.

- August 8, 2024 - Last day for your absentee ballot application to be received by your Municipal Clerk.

- August 13, 2024 - Absentee ballots must be received by 8 p.m.

- Mail-in registrations must also be postmarked by this date.
- November 5, 2024 - In-person registration available up to and including on Election Day

Polling Location
- Use MyVote Wisconsin's Find My Polling Place Portal to view your polling place, election district, absentee ballot status, and more.
V. WHAT TO TAKE TO THE POLLS
Voter ID Laws
- Wisconsin voters require an acceptable photo ID to vote.
Accepted Credentials
- Here is the list of accepted credentials.
- Contact your municipal clerk for an acceptable list of options or other voter registration/absentee ballot questions.
Don't have a valid ID?
- If you can't provide a photo ID, you can cast a provisional ballot. Your provisional ballot will not count unless you provide an acceptable photo ID to your municipal clerk in person by 4:00 p.m. the Friday after the election.
