This posturing is getting dangerous. Trump never served in the military (military school doesn't count) and it's obvious he's trying to divert attention away from his Russian corruption investigation and boost his approval rating. He has no business doing it with the blood of our children - especially since we all know there won't be a single Trump kid going. By the way - DO NOT BRING BACK THE DRAFT! Our military is doing just fine without it. Where he got the idea that the largest military on Earth needs to be even larger. It's already too large as it is. We can make cuts to the military budget & STILL have the largest on Earth.
Please stop 45. He is leading us into WWWIII without Congressional approval. He is making decisions and taking military action based on false facts.
Its inevitable. We have two mad men going head to head and China is massing troops on the border of Korea. I'm not sure to take Korea down, or aid them in a war. I've been in a constant state of anxiety since Election Day. I saw this coming before Trump was elected. "I love war" Who says this? A man in his right mind? I grew up watching the horrors of Vietnam on T.V. Trump was so afraid to go to war he got himself an exemption to avoid the horrors and possible death. Every day that goes by allowing this nut in the WH is a day closer to WWIII. Every single member of the GOP will be responsible. The House has enough for impeachment NOW.
Deescalation. Don't allow a president who knows approval rates soar by war to drag us into more
$16 million to kill about 100 terrorists and destroy some tunnels. Terrorists in Aleppo killed 100 innocents a day or so later with a $13,000 dollar car bomb. I firmly believe that as the FBI gets closer to confirming a link between Russia and the Trump Campaign that Trump and his minions are trying to get us into a war as a distraction and a way to keep their jobs.
For those who thing that trump is actually accomplishing something by these bombings then you clearly don't know your history very well. The reason why former president Obama didn't take action was not because he's weak or a coward. He didn't take action because if he did it would of been the invasion of Iraq all over again. Unless people wanted to spend trillions of dollars on a war that we'd probably come out unsuccessful with, then refusing to put troops on the ground was and is not the answer. For those that thought Obama did nothing then you must be someone who only watches one news stations and don't actually figure anything out for yourself. Obama bombed Syria multiple times, so far the Trump administration has been doing the same thing Obama did. For those that think nothing good comes from war then you also don't know your history. The United States was founded off war. If we didn't have the civil war then blacks may still be enslaved. To think that war is always bad means your narrow minded. Much of our world would not be the way it is if there weren't wars. Our world may not be great but it's a lot better than what it could be if people didn't stand up and fight.
The GOP/Trump going to get us into another war. Trump has never served and thinks bullying and posturing are power. His reference to " my military shows the extent of the arrogance. It is time Congress stood up but the leadership appears to bow to Trumpland!
As a member of Congress are you ready to declare war on North Korea? Syria? Perhaps you would rather remain silent, ignore your constitutional responsibilities and let Mr Trump wage war without a Congressional mandate. Please state your position on warfare as soon as possible for your constituents so that we will know your stance before a disaster occurs .
Please instruct 45 that he may not initiate a pre-emptive strike on North Korea without authorization from the U.S. Congress!!! NO funding for a pre-emptive war!!!!!!
We have a petulant, uninformed and unprepared man-child in the White House who is under investigation. The last thing he should be doing is engaging us in a war just so he can show off in a pathetic attempt to appear presidential. Do you really want your children put in harm's way because of this man?
No war !!!! Investigate the Trump Administration now .,... do not allow them to drop bombs ..... get them out of office !!!
No we are not moving closer to war. We asserting our position of strength. Obama did not have the will to use our greatest diplomatic power. The US military may not be the largest but, it is the most lethal. When we act in our best interest, we strike fear into our enemies. They know that if we have a Commander in Chief that has the will to deploy the military, they can only watch as destruction rains down on them. The MOAB is a great way to show them what can happen. We should always deal from s position of strength. This is exactly what 45 is doing. Good for the USA and our allies.
All this posturing and chest thumping with Korea is very unsettling...especially when the chest being thumped in our country is attached to Donald Trump. I have zero confidence in him. His generals and military may be outstanding, but Trump's unfiltered big mouth is dangerous!
War is so last century, old paradigm. Time to evolve. Choose Love love love
There are two types of countries: the bullies and the bullied. I'd rather be telling people what to do than having another country rule us with occupation or with fear. Carry a big stick, ladies and gentlemen.
Don't let Trump do a preemptive strike against North Korea! It is almost guaranteed to start a major war with hundreds of thousands dying in South Korea and Japan. It has the potential to start World War III.
The world is so unstable due to over 24 years of weak leadership particularly from the USA and the past eight years of no leadership that the potential for WWIII has never been greater. Trump is finally attempting to actually lead from the front to hopefully find peace through strength. A policy that has served us and the world very well. Unless you are over 45 you haven't witnessed that fact for yourself. Unfortunately we have lost both our moral and intellectual compass thanks to Progressivisms total take over of education, the media, and politics. I should note that there is nothing progressive about Progressivism. The swill they sell us every minute of the day closely matches the swill sold by the Social Democrates in Germany and Russia (read Natzies and Communists). So sad.
I think that if Dump trump is not stopped, then we will be heading to WWIII. And it will be a bloody one. We will loose people and they would bring back the draft because we apparently "need" more people in the military. When we already have thousands overseas to Afganastain and Iraq. So yes, if you can, then hold back 45 as much and as long as possible long enough so there is a impeachment hearing and maybe that will calm N Korea down a bit. Because he spreads nothing but lies. He's the opposite of a Christian man. He's Satans right hand man
If we want war then Congress should reinstate the draft so that everyone's kids get drafted even the rich and the political class,
On one hand you have an unstable tyrant and on the other a bullying despot, you chose which is which, facing off against each other to see whose is the biggest with the prospect of a nuclear confrontation ... this is the worst of all possible scenarios as each is out to prove something... I worry for the world with these two ego's in charge of nuclear weapons
