Healthcare is essential for all Americans. Try reading instead of listening to the rhetoric passed onto you by the republicans who care only about their own pockets. Giving us plans that cover nothing doesn't help anyone. You want to cut the very programs that would support the fetus' you want to save. That is just cruel and evil. You have shown you are totally incompetent and Russia has made you look like a fool. Only 36% of Americans approve of you and your administration and that includes racists and white supremacist nationalists. You are a disgusting disgrace. Stop interfering with justice and if you have nothing to hide let an independent commission do the investigation that the American people want. Russia is interfering with our democracy here as well as other countries around the world. You are the biggest leak around. If anyone else leaked your illegal Un-American actions it is because they care about our country unlike you. You are responsible for your cabinet and who you hired. You talk about extreme vetting for refugees but you can't even accomplish vetting your own staff. You are all corrupt. The only thing you are the best at is being the most corrupt irresponsible President in American history. You beat Nixon. Yes Hillary did win the "popular" vote by over 3 million valid and Legal votes. Yes there were over a million people at the March nowhere near the attendance of your inauguration for good reason. You are all comprised and should be in jail. That day will come and the celebration with be the biglyest ever!!! Haste la vista fool.

It's obvious that the only way forward is the move toward a single payer plan. We are the only developed country without universal health care, a terrible position for a nation that supposedly leads the world. With universal health care, the middleman of insurance companies would be a eliminated for the basic needs of millions, preventative care will lower the over dependence on emergency rooms by being able to take care of people and screen them for possible health issues. With every one covered and paying into the universal plan, there will be enough money to take care of those who have serious health issues while calming those who may fear catastrophic events. With a single payer plan the government will be able to negotiate drug costs, procedure and hospital costs and set a precedent for a national health goal. Insurance companies can sell insurance that the universal health plan does not cover, elective surgeries and the like. The way I see it it is a simple expansion of Medicare for everyone, everyone would pay into it like we already do for Social Security. It will be separate from tax revenues and congress should not be able to borrow from it like they have from SS. Yes the average citizen will be paying more in so called taxes, but they will be relieved from paying outrageous health insurance premiums and they will not have to navigate a confusing insurance marketplace, a market place where the premiums only go up as health costs rise because drug companies and hospitals cannot be held accountable for their charges and fees. A single payer plan for all Americans will have the clout to control those costs making it better for everyone.

You, Mr. President, said during a rally and several interviews that you wanted ALL Americans to have health insurance. That is Single Payer Medicare for all. Keep your campaign promise and people will start to respect you. Break that promise? You and the GOP will pay dearly at the polls.

The GOP had 7 years to come with a replacement to the ACA. They spent those 7 years bad mouthing the program and thwarting it at every opportunity. Now when push came to shove and they are in charge as usual they fell short. They never had a plan. They don't care about the health and well being if the American people. They only care about themselves and their own profits. And our so called President is more if the same. All talk. They are a bunch of con men who have duped the American people.

Donald: you promised your supporters "insurance for everybody", lower premiums, and better coverage while keeping the best parts of Obamacare. You also wrote in your book that the United States should commit itself to providing "Universal Healthcare". Now that Republicans' monstrous attempt at healthcare legislation has failed spectacularly, you have a golden opportunity to actually deliver on the bill of goods you sold your voters. I urge you to support the progressive "Medicare-for-all" legislation proposed by Bernie Sanders and other Democrats. Experts at Physicians for a National Health Program say single payer reform is "the only way to fulfill [your] pledge." Be a hero to your voters and the American people (the vast majority of whom highly disapprove of the job you're doing); bring the US into the modern age of healthcare. We're not winning nearly enough.

Single pay - the only way to do it. And when the GOP and the "freedom caucus" yells and screams about costs, simply understand that it is a SHIFTING of cost from the individual to a SHARED cost. This is NOT Socialism - it's not any "ism". It's just smart. Healthcare is not an area for the "Rugged Individualist". This is not the Wild West. We are civilized people who together, can afford the cost of healthcare.

To 45, DT. 1) The existing health care policy is yours and the GOPs. It does not matter if you don't like it. It belongs to you because only you have the votes to change it. Blaming dems is like blaming an apartment tenant for the previous owner's ugly paint job. You are the owner. Start governing. 2) You are not going to pass a health care bill that caters to the Freedom Caucus - kick 'em to the curb. You need moderate Republicans and Democrats to get anything through. That means you'll need to fund it better, not cut services to the poor and elderly or give bonuses to the rich. You'll need to do exactly the opposite to have a good plan that will actually work and pass Congress. This means pissing off your small die-hard constituents. Which brings me to my final point. 3) You are likely to be impeached. Your refusal to work with the Democrats and show any compassion for the majority of your citizens is ruining your Presidency. It is not a corporation. You can't just file bankruptcy, change the rules, or blame somebody else. Your attempted diversions on the tax/Russia/emoluments issue are failing and just widening the hole and increasing the number of people who are in it with you. Nunes, for example. Your only hope is to get the citizens behind you and that won't happen with the cabinet, advisors, and policies you have. Essentially, you need to sack everyone and become a Democrat if you want any hope of avoiding prosecution. You should have stuck to business. I bet you think so too.

Single payer healthcare is what can be done to fix ACA. Negotiate prescription drug prices with drug companies.

The ACA needs to be repaired NOT replaced. The ESSENTIAL HEALTH BENEFITS are essential for a reason. Spreading the risk and cost over the population is what makes premiums affordable. Do not make the mistake of thinking that the majority of the country wants the coverage for pre-existing conditions to go away or that we really want to see the disabled and elderly killed off because of inadequate coverage. And do not make the mistake of thinking that we won't vote any and all who try to upend this, out of office. My district made it abundantly clear to our congressional representative that he should vote no. He got the message. Paul Ryan simply wants to end the ACA, Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security. He is not the one who should be setting the agenda. Find your way to moderates in both parties and do what is best for ALL the country, not just those who are in the top 2%

Disgraceful healthcare proposal! We are the same age Mr. President and I can not believe that all that is important to you is your financial gain. How much is too much when there are seniors who need meals on wheels to remain in their own homes. If all you do is focus on money, the fact is that it would cost more to maintain a senior in a nursing home for one month than provide meals on wheels for a senior for one year. Simple math! To deny school children meals is another disgrace. Would you want that for your grandchildren? I am outraged at your lack of concern for all fellow Americans! You are doing a terrible job as President and are an embarrassment to our country!

We feel like we are in a terrible nightmare and can't wake up. When are you going to stop this nonsense? The corruption in this administration is more than I have ever seen in my 60 years. It makes the Nixon administration look like altar boys. Budgets are being cut for the NIH and the EPA so we can pay for a wall??? You have to stop this insanity. Do you really want to be known as the Congress to allow him to take money away from medical research that will save lives so you can build a wall? I know my Democratic senator will do the right thing and he always does. I am asking, no I am begging, my GOP representatives to wake up and think about what you were doing to this country, and what you were allowing this administration, along with Russia, to do to our democracy! We are frightened!

Not repeal the best healthcare reform ever passed. Does it have shortcomings, sure. Fix them! Much easier than decimating the great progress President Obama made getting the ACA (AFFORDABLE CARE ACT) the GOP plans are nothing but pure garbage.

The reason healthcare costs are rising is because it is not your standard consumer transaction. If I want to buy a tv I can take my time. I can compare models, compare sales etc. I can even choose to wait or not buy one. But with healthcare the sense of immediacy essentially creates a form of extortion. If you have cancer you MUST get it treated, there is no choice. Because you life is on the line you WILL opt for the best and most expensive treatment. Healthcare providers know this. They are capitalists and they have the best method of compelling the public to pay top dollar, the consumers life. We must remove capitalism from healthcare.

Hey Donald, you said you would make insurance, better, cheaper, and for everyone. That's called single payer or Medicare for all. We are the only industrialized nation that doesn't already provide healthcare for all. Doing so would be a start down the direction of Making America Great which you keep saying is your goal.

I implore you to become the president for all and not for only your supporters. Healthcare is necessary for many in this country, and I ask that you work with both sides to repair ACA. The healthcare for the people should be the same as what our representatives receive. Think of our country and try to heal the divide.

I am a RN with 30 + years in the profession. I have worked for health plans and understand the "business side" of health insurance - the #1 goal is profit not patient care. Unless you have experienced the inefficiency, duplication of simple tasks, archaic electronic data sharing between medical providers, multiple layers of so called decision makers who are clueless about patient care, you do not understand the system of health care and it's interdependence on big business has failed and will continue to fail the American people. For decades the health insurance industry has tried to squeeze health care into a business model and it has failed -health is not a product or commodity. Get health plans out of the employers responsibility. Medicare for all - single payor please!

I am a healthcare provider in outpatient Cardiac Rehab. I'm also am a hospital employee who benefits from a preventive wellness programs implemented through my hospital employer. I needed to convey that in the last several years there has been a drastic decline in the amount of uninsured patients referred to Cardiac Rehab. Cardiac Rehab improves patient outcomes, therefore decreases hospital admissions. This is a no-brainer. Insurance companies supports Cardiac Rehab programs because it reduces overall costs. Cardiac rehab is a secondary prevention program. Currently I'm involved in a primary prevention program with my employer. Since the ACA was activated, I've been provided with incentives to be a healthier employee. Now my Energy level is better so my work efficiency has improved. I rarely ever miss work due to illness. Please improve the ACA. Don't let political partisanship and your pride remove you from what is best for the American people and for our health.
