Greetings, folks. The mighty ship of state sails on—we're glad you're sailing with us this Tuesday.
On Tuesday morning, the Senate Intelligence Committee held their annual hearing on global threats. Intel heads said Russia will interfere in the 2018 election. Wondering what else they said? Click here.
The news media is full of stories about different aspects of the president’s budget for FY2019, which was released Monday. All of those stories are important. The devil is in the details, as they say. But it’s also true that much of the president’s budget will never see the light of day in terms of actual policy. So, what does it actually mean? Why does it actually matter? Click here for some clarity.
President Donald Trump’s infrastructure plan would give Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke the power to greenlight pipelines through national parks. Currently, constructing oil or gas pipelines on National Park Service land requires an act of Congress. Why is the president pushing for this change? Read all about it.

Release Trump's taxes before requiring Americans to contribute to your 2017 Tax Heist. Answer the press' question about the visa status of the 1st ladies parents. And reduce the number of lies coming out of the GOP from 5.9 per day to 1 or less per month. 🌈 Either that or please send me on an all expense paid cruise out of the country until this nightmare is over. 📬 PS I might have a few countable friends who would like to join me on that all expense paid cruise. They appear to be suffering from a similar overwhelming sense of disgust at this administration total lack of integrity.
The only global threat is donald trump and his administration, and his budget is more swamp. Stop cutting domestic programs.
There is nothing more important to this country at the moment than our president. What I want to know is what are you planning on doing to protect this country and it’s people from literally everything he does. I could give you a huge list but it’s been done. You’re all grown men. You know what’s happening. So you either agree with it or your scared. So I say this to you all. Man up or we find someone else who will.
Why is the administration allowed to not institute sanctions against Russia? Why is there no oligarch list that had Russia shaking in their boots? Why is the president allowed to bully the American people? Why are there NO rules on internet terrorism against Russia on our elections!? Why is Vladimir Putin smiling? No help from you guys, eh? The NRA gets to run our elections, the Russian govt gets to own our elections and there is no head of FEMA to let the states know if we are under attack? There is no plan on a phone roll out or who should let the public know? WHAT THE HELL ARE WE PAYING YOU FOR? DO YOUR JOB!
First the President waived the penalty on Deutches Bank (yes, the one he where he has millions in loans ) now he refuses to enact the sanctions on Russia. You need to take actions that these conflicts of interest are removed from his control. Congress needs to step up and take control of the executive branch. It is called checks and balances.
I am horrified by the security threat that is the personnel in the White House. There are multiple employees, appointees and family members who can NOT pass the security clearance, yet, classified information is shared with them on a regular basis. We were worried about Hillary’s unsecured server - the Jared Kushner’s, their use of unsecured electronics is so much larger. This IS a national security threat and these people need to be removed and our internal security returned to its pre-Trump status. How is this NOT a problem. I expect you, Mr. Blunt, Mr. Graves and Ms. McCaskill to address this issue.
So at the hearings yesterday we learned that climate change is real and not coming to grips with that will be a national security risk. The huge deficit is an issue that could put our national security at risk. The Russians did and are presently interfering in our elections despite Trump’s assurances that Putin is a good guy. The president lied about not being informed about Rob Porter in a timely matter, and from the news reports, yes, the president’s fixer did pay a porn star $130,000. So whose agenda is being served by keeping this dangerous man and his lackeys in power? Not the country’s. Way to go Republicans. Special interests over country and an opportunity to do away with all the social programs dating back to FDR! Underfund schools and demonize teachers, unions and a whole host of other groups to dazzle us all while they shrink government down to a dysfunctional mess. Go vote them out!!
Trump and the Republican kleptocrats in Congress far outweigh any foreign threat to our nation
Protecting the degenerate in the White House should be treason.
Taking away any support for people who are differently abled then most of the people is not a humane way to help people.
Please do NOT support a budget that will take away Medicaid and low income benefits or that will diminish their already low self esteem.
Hey, Chief Bam Bam stop lying about the amount spent in the middle east! Yea, you! You have been called out on this lie since your campaign days and it is time for you to stop! 📮 President Trump is lumping together the wars in Iraq (in the Middle East) and Afghanistan (in Central or South Asia), which together cost about $1.8 trillion from 2001 to 2017. He is also adding in estimates of future spending, such as interest on the debt and veterans’ care until 2056. Yet he consistently suggests that this is money already spent. So where is he getting this figure? It seems that the president is referring to a study by the Watson Institute of International and Public Affairs at Brown University on the cumulative cost of the wars including interest through 2056. To calculate this number, the study includes numerous estimates for spending that hasn’t yet happened. Some of these estimates are for peripheral services such as veterans’ care and terrorism prevention programs that happen on U.S. soil — not abroad.-courtesy of The Washington Post Fact Checker.
Interesting how Mr. MAGA hasn’t said a peep about our amazing US Olympic Team and their incredible accomplishments. How unpatriotic of you Mr. President.
