Colorado lawmakers are set to introduce a bill that would ban so-called “conversion therapy” practices in the state for good, and the news couldn’t come at a more important time.
A recent study found that one in five LGBTQ youth attempted suicide after surviving these horrific, medically outdated practices. So the facts are clear: “conversion therapy” or “ex-gay therapy” practices only harm LGBTQ youth.
But as the bill moves to the Colorado State Senate, we need your help to get this effort across the finish line.
Add your name to this petition and call on Colorado’s elected leaders to protect our LGBTQ youth once and for all.

"Conversion therapy" is barbaric and accomplishes nothing other than to lead its victims down the path to suicide - PLEASE STOP THIS HORRIFIC PRACTICE
Conversion therapy leads to depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and suicidal ideation/suicide attempts/suicide completions. As a future counselor, I refuse to stand by conversion therapy!!
Conversion therapy is and has been proven to be ineffective and damaging and sadly it is used on adolescents who are involuntary in choosing this barbaric practice by parents while living with the damage long into adulthood and for life.
Conversion therapy is abusive, and awful. I wish I could give every kid who ever experienced it a hug
