President Donald Trump just declared a so-called “national emergency” to secure funds to build his wall along the United States southern border.
But there’s no national emergency. Trump’s declaration intentionally targets immigrants and asylum seekers, many of whom are LGBTQ. In fact, about 267,000 undocumented immigrants who have entered the country identify as LGBTQ.
Raise your voice with us. Tell President Trump to stop his “national emergency” declaration and stop targeting LGBTQ immigrants and asylum seekers.
GLAAD stands firmly against Trump’s declaration. Join us today.

Trump is continually making immigrants the enemy, spreading misinformation and lies to rile up his base to support him. This includes LGBT refugees who are seriously at risk of harm in their home countries. This type of fear-mongering and hate has to stop...the real emergency is how Trump is treating these people and how his supporters are acting hateful.
This is sad that you clowns think Trump wants to build a wall to keep out gay people. #DemocraticEducation
