1. "BREAKING: FBI Once Again Investigating Hillary Clinton’s Emails"

FBI Director James Comey told Congress on Friday that the bureau is once again looking into Hillary Clinton’s emails, after new missives came to light in an "unrelated case." Comey said that the FBI will look into those emails to “determine whether they contain classified information.” Clinton’s campaign and a former Dept. of Justice spokesman criticized Comey for the vagueness of his letter, particularly right before the election, while Donald Trump praised the FBI for working to right the “horrible mistake” they made in closing the investigation into Clinton earlier this year.

The New York Times reported Friday that the new emails being investigated by the FBI "were discovered after the F.B.I. seized electronic devices belonging to Huma Abedin and her husband, Anthony Weiner."

2. "Clinton eyes Biden for secretary of state"

Vice President Joe Biden "is at the top" of Clinton’s short list for secretary of state, according to “a source familiar with the planning. … The vice president, who chaired the Senate Foreign Relations Committee before joining the administration, is one of the most experienced and respected Democrats on the world stage.” The Clinton campaign has not yet talked to him about the job.

3. "Supreme Court takes up school bathroom rules for transgender students"

The Supreme Court announced on Friday that they will take up a case over whether the Obama administration "may require public school systems to let transgender students use bathrooms that align with their gender identity, putting the court once again at the center of a divisive social issue."

4. "Facebook Lets Advertisers Exclude Users by Race"

A ProPublica investigation found that Facebook allows advertisers to exclude users from their messages, including certain racial groups using a category they’ve labeled "ethnic affinities." The tool, when applied to advertising for housing and employment, could violate federal law.

5. "A Plane Is on Fire at Chicago's O'Hare Airport"

"A Miami-bound American Airlines plane blew a tire during takeoff Friday at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, sending thick black smoke from the aircraft. The passengers are reportedly safe."
