DD10: Should the Shutdown Scuttle Trump's State of the Union?

by The Daily Dose | Updated on 1.17.19

Should President Trump be able to give his State of the Union Address as planned? House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says no, not unless the partial government shutdown is resolved this week. Why? Because the speech is a huge security event -- and the agencies responsible for keeping it safe aren't fully funded.

As one Congressman put it “this shutdown should be treated as a ‘National Emergency’” and a resolution put forth to resolve it. No party should be allowed to shutdown the Government for political purposes. It places at risk so many Americans by using this unscrupulous tactic to resolve political differences.

Really I strongly agree with U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA.) as well as President Trump should not make his address of the Union of Speech to the U.S. Congress in the U.S. Capitol as he should be kept out from the U.S. Congress as he's the mad American dicator who is much wroser than President Nixon during 1970's in our U.S. History. Impeach Trump and Remove all of Trump Administration and Arrest Trump Off-Springs. Re-open our U.S. Government and Save our U.S. Consituation and our rights of freedoms in our practices in our democracy. Christa D'Auria
