A recent report revealed that North Carolina is the only state in the country to have no domestic violence protections for LGBTQ people.
This news is jaw-dropping, but now’s the time for action.
There are currently more than 275,000 LGBTQ people who call North Carolina home. It’s time that the North Carolina General Assembly and Governor Roy Cooper pass a bill that would not just protect LGBTQ North Carolinians, but one that would also save lives.
Sign this petition today to say North Carolina’s elected leaders should do the right thing and pass these protections now before another life is lost.
