I am 82 years old. I was raised in a politically active family, 100% Democrat. Mother also insisted we listen to and then watched when TV arrived. My true sense is that politics has changed drastically and with the change we ha e spiraled down to where we are now. There is no cooperation across the aisles, the GOP is self centered, mean spirited, strive for power and wealth for them selves. The Democrats do not seem to be able to agree on any thing, never work together for the good of the party. President Obama’s was a breath of fresh air disputed GOP vowing to oppose any and everything he tried to achieve, He still made us feel safe, that he actually cared what happened to the least of us. ACA is a must, Climate Change is real, racism continues, Guns still need some controls, DACA needs to be address in a positive way, Tax Reform and deficit needs control, Social Security And Medicare need to be removed from the General Fund, put in a lock box so the politicians can not touch it. There is sweat in every dollar and not part of the Debt. Veterans need physical and mental care without charge. If we are going to send our young men and women out to fight wars for us, we must care for them when they return. I’ve lived through WW11, Korea, Vietnam, Gulf 1,2,3,4, I have lost count. I am a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Veteran Army Nurse Corp., Wife, Mother, Grandmother. Seen and participated in Civil Rights and the age of Aquarius. I am sad, angry, disappointed and embarrassed by the condition we are now in. I would like to bury my head, not listen to the news. I, however will not do that, I will fight, resist, march, get out the vote and do every thing I can do to fight for our Beautiful USA. My pitchfork is sharp and be ready. Trump and the Congress. need reminding we are the people, the voters and we can you remove, you are our employees and we are watching.

Tired of not being heard? Then put an end to the rhetoric being spewed to the world that the GOP agenda "is the will of the American people". Countable has nurtured us, it has educated us, it has even given us a platform to be heard. But Countable cannot force our leaders to listen! That is up to us. So take to the internet, while you can, and quash all the falsehoods being spread on news feeds like Marketwatch and 45's personal pet project The NewYork Post. We must become the dignified in this battle and send a clear message to the world that what is being done by our leadership is NOT the will of the American people. Absolute Power Corrupts!

I am furious. We are becoming a nation that is not respect by us or the rest of the world. What happens when respect for people, institutions , and human rights no longer matter? I call on our elected representatives in the House and Senate to speak up and demand that this administration resign in mass! Because if you do not act, we will! I am concerned with voter suppression, denial of climate change, destroying of laws that have protected the land, air, water and workers. The hard working career government and foreign service workers have been degraded enough by this horrible administration. It has to go!

There are two Americas. One puts an emphasis on groups, the other on individuals. One wants Big government to take care of us, the other wants government out of our lives. One promotes diversity of skin color, the other promotes diversity of thought regardless of skin color. One looks to punish successful people, the other encourages success. One side believes in entitlements, the other believes in safety nets. One side believes in taxing to pay for said entitlements and programs, the other wants you to keep what you earned. One side is for open borders, the other wants merit based immigration. One is for sanctuary cities, protecting criminal undocumented felons, the other wants to deport undocumented felons. One side treats you like a victim, promotes safe spaces, trigger warnings, participation trophies, coloring books and puppies, while the other encourages you to be the best you can be, develop coping skills, learn how to fail and overcome. One side wants to take your firearms, the other wants you to protect yourself and family. One side condemns law enforcement and provides space for people destroy property, while the other respects first responders and the law, excluding those who abuse their authority. One side promotes “a night of screaming” events while the other side...just laughs. One side cares about your skin color, the other cares about the quality of your character regardless of your skin color. One likes to spend more than what we have, the other wants to stay within budget. One side throws money at failing programs, the other looks to fix it or question its existence. One side are whiners and babies, the other is generally more mature and has to he the “bad guy” in society, much like the way spoiled children behave when they don’t get their way. One side believes in peace through strength, the other believes in “strategic patience” hoping it will go away or not get any worse. See North Korea, Middle East peace talks, North Korea, Russia, etc. one side wants to take your money and redistribute said money elsewhere. Where do you stand?
