There is nothing this congress does that works for the working people. All is for the plundering of natural resources, destruction of national wilderness areas and programs that greatly benefit monied interests- in the hope that the some of their wealth trickle down to the working stiffs. As if this has ever happened without the government forcing it. The excuse that the AFA needs repair (which it does) is a thin cover for congress destroying a law that helps the poorer working people- who have no support in congress.
It looks to be another week of destroying democracy.
Nominees to the federal courts should be severely screened!!! We need judges to protect the rights of the individual!!! The republicans will not protect the individual unless you are rich!!
It’s my opinion that the payment done under the Affordable Care Act should not be repeal. If repeal it will leave thousands if not millions without Health Insurance. Many families in Ashe County will loose their coverage.
More chances to screw the middle class and poor
Another week of screwing the middle class. #Resist
Do not repeal Obamacare start working across the aisle for healthcare for all! If we can pour billions into military, weapons, and missies we can certainly find the money to keep all our citizens safe from disease. shame on Trump and Republicans
Are they FINALLY voting on Impeachment?
Really nothing for middle glass like always. Vote all of them out of office.
So when are you going to do something meaningful? TAX REFORM? AFFORDABLE Healthcare? (because my 2018 premium is FAR from AFFORDABLE!) Seems like there is always time for dilly dally legislation. WHERE’S THE PROMISES????
Buried in all the trivial is another chip away of the ACA. The Republican Congress is hell bent on destroying Obama’s legacy (which has a 60 percent plus approval rating) at all cost to the millions of us who benefit. It’s like they have a fixation much like my Lab gets fixated on things. Fortunately my Lab is smart enough to get over it. Republicans, I’m not so sure.
Walter, the economy is booming because of Obama’s hard work turning things around the past 8 years. It has nothing to do with Trump’s policies, because policy change takes years to show any real economic effects. Never ceases to amaze ME how dumb conservatives are!
Joan Larsen is yet another member of the Federalist Society, a cult of crazy conservatives focused on screwing over ordinary people to appease the wealthy elite! Larsen must not be allowed a lifetime appointment as a U.S. federal judge, for her extreme views would do more harm than good! We must resist!
God please help us all !!!
It’s time for the US Senate to confirm President Trumps Judicial nominations and quit dragging their feet. Delaying is no longer an option. Do the job that they were elected to do.
Never ceases to amaze me how liberals are all doom and gloom as the stock market and the economy booms.
Thanks to this app for allowing the the people to see what our reps vote for or against...
I really don’t know where to start, because congress has become unable and unwilling to do the people’s work. You no longer put country first, you put yourselves above everything. Especially the obstructionist Republicans. You have put our country at risk. You will not stand up to the President when you know he is wrong and lying. You have let us down and are complicit when it comes to Russia. You are silent with a very few exceptions. You are complicit when it comes to destroying health care, you are complicit when it comes to DACA, CHIP, GUN RIGHTS, ,LBGT RIGHTS, VOTER RIGHTS, IMMIGRATION, OBSTRUCTION,GERRYMANDERING, RACISM, WOMEN’S RIGHTS, TAX CUTS, NOT REFORM, EPA, DEALING WITH NORTH KOREA, we don’t want war!!! ALSO IN DEALING WITH PURTO RICO, and VIRGIN ISLANDS. HORRENDOUS. In all these listed and I’m sure I’ve missed some, you are guilty of not living up to your OATH OF OFFICE. We HAVE A GOVERNMENT THAT IS FAILING IN SO MANY WAYS. Some are corrupt and have taken RUSSIAN MONEY THRU THE BACK DOOR. So your report card gives you a failing grade and we the people need to drain the swamp since so many have joined it. And it starts at the top and on down, including but not limited to, Trump, his family, Pence, Kelly, Ryan, McConnell, Sessions and that is just a start. GOD HELP OUR COUNTRY, because our government is failing.
Remember Trump supporters, this is what you wanted...
Dear God, the senate is working on a Monday. What in the world will happen next, they may even approve some judges
