In advance of the midterm elections, GLAAD conducted its first-ever ‘Electing Acceptance’ candidate survey, the only national candidate survey dedicated to LGBTQ acceptance.
The survey includes responses from candidates running for U.S. House and U.S. Senate seats, Governor and Lieutenant Governor, arming LGBTQ people and their allies with information on where candidates stand before they head to the polls.
A candidate’s comfort level with LGBTQ people is very likely to impact how they legislate on issues related to LGBTQ rights. Find out how your candidate responded.
If your candidate is listed as "Did Not Respond," tag them in your social media and ask them to complete the survey. You deserve to know the answers.
Share Electing Acceptance with your friends, family and social networks and get out and vote for acceptance on November 6!
